From production to the consumer, a different amount is charged for each battery type and size, known as the disposal fee.
The Batteries Foundation (Stibat) has drawn up an implementation plan for the collection and processing of discarded batteries.
Currently, about 80% are collected spontaneously and, where technically possible, already recycled.
