Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming more than 25 colleagues from Loohuis Installatiegroep B.V. to Intercel for a day dedicated to the energy transition and Cellpower Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Our colleague Marvin Sewbalak welcomed the group and gave a presentation on our vision for energy storage, the latest market developments and the important role BESS plays in addressing grid congestion and building a future-proof energy system. The visit also included a tour of our Haarlem Energy Hub, where we gave the group a behind-the-scenes look at our facility, systems and processes. It was great to see how enthusiastic everyone was about our factory and how valuable they found the opportunity to experience our way of working up close.

Throughout the day, we demonstrated how Intercel supports installers in responding to the growing demand for energy storage. From selecting the right system and discussing practical applications to sharing knowledge and real-world experience, we work together to help our partners advise and support their customers with confidence. We also explained how data and simulations are playing an increasingly important role in designing energy storage solutions. By modelling projects in advance, installers can make well-informed decisions and provide customers with reliable, future-proof advice. Another topic was the further development of our partner network. Through training, certifications and support services, we aim to help our partners expand their expertise and, together, raise the quality of energy storage projects even further.

The open conversations, critical questions and interactive discussions with the board, management team and branch managers of Loohuis highlighted just how important collaboration is in a rapidly changing energy market. By combining knowledge with practical experience, we can deliver better and more sustainable solutions for our customers. The day was concluded with an inspiring presentation by Dennis van der Meij, invited by Loohuis Installatiegroep to share his perspective on the energy transition, developments towards 2027 and opportunities ahead for the installation sector.
