High-end AGV battery

Built for Automated Guided Vehicles

Built for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) in aluminum foundries, the battery provides a robust 672V and 228Ah (153 kWh) capacity. Tailored to meet stringent Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards, it comes with specialized Battery Management System (BMS) adjustments. Its liquid cooling mechanism equips it to handle extreme ambient temperatures, guaranteeing consistent performance even in challenging environments.

Challenge

The main challenge was to combine ample power with the ability to withstand the heat of the foundry and at the same time ensure there is no electromagnetic interference (EMI) with other devices in the production environment. Power, heat and electromagnetic compatibility standard all come together in a compact, built to last battery solution.
